Yes. Ignite by Hatch now aligns with 25 objectives and 41 items within Teaching Strategies GOLD(R).
Ignite by Hatch is both a toddler and pre-K product. It will be scaffolded for 28 months to 5 years.
Repetition is essential for this age range and therefore, reinforcing games in reverse order; at the accomplished level is the best path to follow at this point (i.e. once a child completes all Skills and all Levels, we reverse the presentation of Skills, which enables children to ‘test’ their knowledge). This will continue to produce documentation for the teachers, which regardless of the child accomplishing the skill or not, is a requirement for many teachers (i.e. the continued collection of documentation).
If a student exits the game before completing it, the game will restart when they log back in. Any games that were completed in the game set will be saved. For instance, if a student completes the first two games in the set and exits the application half way through the third game, when they log back in the third game will start from the beginning but they will maintain their completion of the first two games.
The student will create their avatar the first time they log in. They will then have the option to edit their avatar after completing each game set (3 games).
There are 3 games in a game set.
We will always be adding new content to Ignite by Hatch. Content includes game sets as well as avatar skins and accessories.
Yes. An always-on high speed internet connection is required to use Ignite by Hatch when playing via a web browser. The application has the ability to work offline for up to 7 days before requiring an internet connection. When playing the application in offline mode, all child data will be saved locally to the device until an internet connection is reestablished and the data is synced to Hatch Insights for review. Ignite by Hatch requires internet download speeds of at least 2Mbps.
Parents and/or guardians will be able to view their children's progress and art work directly from Insights, even if they have children who are in different schools or classes. In order to gain access to Insights, parents and/or guardians must be added by the teacher or administrator of their child's school.
Ignite by Hatch supports students from ages 28 months to 5 years.
Ignite by Hatch uses both SSL and TSL cryptographic protocol that provides authentications and data encryption between servers, 福彩app下载官网下载 and applications operating over a network.

Yes, they are new to the Shell Squad Adventures' family.
Children have an opportunity to begin playing these games when they are almost or have completed all of the original 18 kindergarten readiness games.
The artifacts are located in the bottom row of the museum.
In order for your children to have an opportunity to play the new kindergarten bridge games, you must have the latest version of the iStartSmart Elite product (version 5.6.0.0). If you are unsure of which version you currently have, you can check your device by launching Shell Squad Adventures and looking at the top right corner.
Yes! As long as you have a subscription to iStartSmart Elite software, your children can enjoy playing and learning from these new games. Also, Hatch will be releasing additional games this summer as part of our "Back to School" pack! Stay tuned for more!
Only children who have shown understanding in the original 18 Pre-k level games will have the opportunity to play the kindergarten bridge level games. Once they have shown understanding in the original 18 skill games, the system will automatically unlock the new kindergarten bridge skills to continue their learning.
Click here to request an upgrade or call us at 800-624-7968 to speak to a sales representative
Progress monitoring for the new kindergarten bridge skills will follow the same format as the original 18 games; each of the 4 new skills will have a tutorial, emerging, developing, developed and completed skill level. To see what skill level your children have currently reached in each skill, you can view the individual child progress reports or the class overview report found in the Report Management System.
First, it is important to remind children that they do not need to apply a lot of pressure as they interact with the screen; i.e. they do not need to press or touch in an aggressive manner. For example, when a child is struggling to initiate screen movement, ask him to tap his nose and then tap the screen in the same way; the pressure they apply to their nose and that on the screen is very similar.
In addition, we recommend children use a thumb to move objects on the screen; the placement of the thumb-pad seems to work very well. Also keep in mind the following:
Many state standards require children to have developed phonological memory ability before they begin phonics instruction. In addition, children should make sets and recognize numerals for up to 10 objects in addition and subtraction. The Common Core State Standards lists these skills for kindergarten as well.
Beyond the Technology games that support the new kindergarten level skills have been added to our Beyond the Technology library.
The games often turn off touch activity while instructions are being delivered to ensure that children hear everything they need to know in order to answer correctly.
Shell Squad Adventures currently has 18 skill activities with 5 scaffolding levels for each activity.
Once you have added all the children to your classroom and you are ready to play, touch the "X" at the top right corner of the teacher window to close the menu and you will see your classroom. After touching your classroom, you will see all your newly added children.
The child will select their picture two times in a row and they will then be presented with the Artifact Museum. The child can simply tap the door at the bottom right corner of the screen to get started playing.
We have modified the way the themes work within the games. Instead of a choosing a theme, they have been integrated into the software natively for a more immersive experience. That way, the themes directly tie to the activities the children are playing.
Added intrinsic motivational factors to the game to encourage child utilization Added a backstory to the game that helps with building empathy in the children (helping Orwell get his artifacts back), a sense of story and self-esteem. And along with the Welcome kit that includes a comic book with even more back story on the characters, helps to provide more integration of the game into the classroom activities Added a museum (part of the backstory) and where persistent rewards are displayed. Children can see their own progress and build their internal motivation Added characters: Orwell the owl, the museum curator who requests the childrens help to recover artifacts from Luna and "sends" them on adventures in a variety of new places and settingsLuna the moth, who is a trickster who has hidden the museum artifacts and who will give them back if the children can answer riddles and puzzles and games successfully Instead of 3 themes, there are 18 different "themes/adventures" which are integrated into the game Added a "Try Again" option when a child has not completed the skill game successfully allowing them to repeat the skill game or to move to a new skill game Shell Squad Characters do not remain on the screen all the time. They will "lean in" to compliment correct answer selection or encourage them at incorrect selections. They are also more animated and will tumble across to provide a sense of moving through the adventure to the end goal - retrieving the artifact Instructions are more game oriented since the themes are more integrated into the experience
Class data and Child Progress data are carried between Shell Squad Games and Shell Squad Adventures. The Classes and children added on Shell Squad Games devices can also be used with Shell Squad Adventures when the tablets are assigned to the same classes. A childs progress in Shell Squad Games will be reflected in Shell Squad Adventures. The child will notice the difference in the Graphics and game play between the two but the skills and the levels they have achieved will carry across. Both games exchange class and child progress data with RMS and save data to a common local database on the device as well to support the ability to play while the tablet is not connected to the internet or loses internet connection. Bookmarks work the same way as in Shell Squad Games. However, Bookmarks are not preserved between the two games. So if a child uses a tablet with Shell Squad Games and then goes to a tablet with Shell Squad Adventures, the bookmark they had in Shell Squad Games will be removed when they play in Shell Squad Adventures. And the same in reverse is true.
The iSS/AIO Time Study and the iSS/AIO Texas efficacy studies results provided a time recommendation for the users. Children should play Shell Squad Games an average of 30 minutes per week, or 2 hours per month (20-week instructional period), filling 4 thermometers per week. Teachers should monitor children as they move through to obtain the developed level on the 18 skills. A general indicator would be that by the January snapshot, a child should have reached developed or completed for 9-1/2 of the 18 school readiness skills.

Yes, they are new to the Shell Squad Adventures' family.
Children have an opportunity to begin playing these games when they are almost or have completed all of the original 18 kindergarten readiness games.
The artifacts are located in the bottom row of the museum.
In order for your children to have an opportunity to play the new kindergarten bride games, you must have the latest version of the iStartSmart ELITE product (version 5.6.0.0).
Also, keep in mind: Fingernails do not register as touches (on most devices), be mindful when the child is touching that they should be coached to use the pad of the finger rather than the side or tip. Clean hands work better than hands with foreign material on them. A light but firm touch works better than a really heavy or feather-light touch. The objects are not active on the screen until the instructions have completed - a good way of knowing when the objects are active in Emerging-Complete skill levels of the games is to reference the green
